What to expect
What to Expect at a Community Sauna Session
Whether it’s your first time sweating it out Nordic-style or you’re already a seasoned sauna pro, here’s what to expect:
Each session lasts 75 minutes, giving you plenty of time for 3–4 sauna rounds and all the “ahhh” moments in between.
We recommend doing 10–15 minutes in the sauna at a time, then step outside to cool off naturally (or take the plunge — if you’re feeling brave).
Let your body return to normal temperature, sip some water, chat by the fire, then head back in.
Repeat that cycle 2–4 times depending on your comfort level and how toasty you’re feeling.
Every session is self-paced, communal, and laid back — we’re here to help you unwind, not win medals.
What to Bring
You don’t need much, but these things help you have the best experience:
Swimsuit or workout clothes (whatever you’re comfy sweating in)
Towel or robe (to dry off and stay cozy between rounds)
Flip-flops or sandals (trust us, gravel + bare feet = bad combo)
Water bottle (hydration = key to feeling amazing afterward)
Optional: cold plunge courage and your favorite sauna stories
We’ll provide the fire, the heat, and the vibe.
The Heat Haven Vibe
Imagine your favorite Wisconsin winter night — now add crackling fire pits, steamy barrel saunas, and good people laughing through the cold. That’s Heat Haven.
It’s not about perfection. It’s about presence.
It’s where you can slow down, warm up, and enjoy the finer things Winter has to offer.
