It’s official — Heat Haven is live!

Join us for our Opening Night celebration, where we’re blending chill vibes with a little launch-night magic. We’ll ease into the evening with a sound bath session — the perfect way to ground, breathe, and soak in the good energy before we turn up the steam.

Then it’s on to two hours of sauna rotations, live music, and all the cozy, feel-good moments we’ve been waiting to share with you.

To make it extra special, every guest will snag a Heat Haven launch gift, enjoy specials on mocktails, and vibe out by the fire with new friends (weather permitting, of course).

Whether you come to celebrate, sweat, or just soak it all in, Opening Night is the perfect way to kick off your weekend — and our new season of heat, harmony, and good times.

About the Instructor

Meet Adagio Sound Healing

For the past 14 years, Bernard Runo and David “Mr. K” Kotlewski have been creating harmony together — as partners in life and in music. Classically trained and endlessly curious, they blend deep musical expertise with a shared passion for healing through sound.

David brings decades of teaching and orchestral experience to their work. A retired Milwaukee Public Schools music educator, he’s also shared his gifts through the El Sistema Reach Teach Play program for Ravinia in Northern Illinois. Today, he continues to nurture Milwaukee’s music community as House Manager at the Bradley Symphony Center for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

Bernard is a Master Sound Practitioner, certified through the Art of Healing School of Energy Medicine in Elm Grove, Wisconsin. A descendant of Filipino shamanic healers, he carries forward his lineage through modern practice, holding certification in Indigenous Filipino Manual Medicine from the Kailukuan School in Walnut, California. He’s also a graduate of Milwaukee’s East-West Healing Arts Institute, where he studied Traditional Chinese Medicine and complementary Western healing modalities.

Together, Bernard and David form Adagio Sound Healing, where they use string instruments, voice, and vibration to create immersive, restorative sound experiences. Beyond their healing work, they stay joyfully busy playing for their parish church, performing with the Milwaukee Community Orchestra, celebrating love stories with their string quartet Strings 4 All, and even rocking out with their band Recovered.

Their sessions are where music meets medicine — a space to listen, breathe, and feel the resonance of true balance. Learn more about Bernard and David or join them for another event at www.adagiosoundhealing.com.
